We're Net Socials!
A vibrant tennis community founded by Monique Pace and Nadia Ionescu-Blower. As a social butterfly with a passion for all things active, Monique found herself looking for a casual way to get back into tennis. She discovered that finding a laid-back tennis club, booking courts, and connecting with people to play socially was quite a challenge.
What began as a WhatsApp group with 30 friends, quickly evolved into something much bigger with sessions starting in Clapham Common and spreading across the entire London network. Starting back in May 2024, we organise weekly social tennis events across the summer, as well as socials across the year and pop ups in the winter. To our amazement,
Net Socials has grown from those original 30 mates to a thriving community.
Our Team
Monique Pace
Monique is a New Zealander now based in London, she founded Net Socials in 2024 with a vision to build a vibrant and inclusive tennis community. After facing challenges finding a social tennis club and reconnecting with the sport she cherished as a teenager, Monique took the initiative to create her own. What began as casual games with friends, quickly evolved into a thriving community.
Nadia Ionescu-Blower
Nadia joined Net Socials as founder in September of 2024, inspired by the club’s vision to foster community, sport and fun. Since June she was fully immersed in running the Fulham events, and later partnered with Monique to help shape Net Social’s exciting future. Passionate about building communities, she focuses on creating fun and inclusive tennis events where everyone feels welcome, both on and off the court.
Together, Monique (pictured above on left) and Nadia (pictured above on right) are dedicated to growing Net Socials as more than just a sports club, it’s a vibrant community where tennis meets connection, fostering friendships that extend far beyond the net.
