About us
We are Net Socials, a vibrant tennis community founded by Monique Pace and Nadia Ionescu-Blower. As a social butterfly with a passion for all things active, Monique found herself looking for a casual way to get back into tennis. She discovered that finding a laid-back tennis club, booking courts, and connecting with people to play socially was quite a challenge.
What began as a WhatsApp group with 30 friends, quickly evolved into something much bigger with sessions starting in Clapham Common and spreading across the entire London network. Starting back in May 2024, we organise weekly social tennis events across the summer, as well as socials across the year and pop ups in the winter. To our amazement, Net Socials has grown from those original 30 mates to a thriving community.
So then, what is Net Socials?
Net Socials is not your traditional tennis club; it’s a vibrant community where tennis enthusiasts of all levels come together to enjoy the game in a relaxed and social setting. We are not coaches, but rather a facilitator bringing people together to share in the joy of tennis. We play large group tennis games that give everyone a decent amount of court time, making the experience accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Our members range from beginners to very experienced players, typically in their 20s and 30s. What sets Net Socials apart is our focus on three core values: connection, community, and accessibility. People are drawn to the inclusive, fun, and healthy environment we’ve created, and they love the sense of belonging that comes with being part of our tennis family.
Net Socials is all about making connections, fostering a sense of community, and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to play and enjoy tennis. Whether you’re a seasoned player or picking up a racket for the first time, you’ll find a welcoming home here at Net Socials.

Our Mission
Net Socials exists to break down barriers in tennis, creating a vibrant, inclusive community where connection, fun, and belonging thrive. We aim to redefine tennis as a sport for everyone; accessible, welcoming, and full of joy, while fostering lifelong friendships and meaningful moments both on and off the court.
Our Team
Monique Pace, Founder
Monique is a New Zealander now based in London, she founded Net Socials in 2024 with a vision to build a vibrant and inclusive tennis community. After facing challenges finding a social tennis club and reconnecting with the sport she cherished as a teenager, Monique took the initiative to create her own. What began as casual games with friends, quickly evolved into a thriving community.
Nadia Ionescu-Blower, Founder
Nadia joined Net Socials as founder in September of 2024, inspired by the club’s vision to foster community, sport and fun. Since June she was fully immersed in running the Fulham events, and later partnered with Monique to help shape Net’s exciting future. Passionate about building communities, she focuses on creating fun and inclusive tennis events where everyone feels welcome, both on and off the court.
Together, Monique (pictured above on left) and Nadia (pictured above on right) are dedicated to growing Net Socials as more than just a sports club, it’s a vibrant community where tennis meets connection, fostering friendships that extend far beyond the game.
